to BY from Da{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} copy to HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X7380 EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/16.8.26. RE SUBFRAME E.A.C.VII. We have now made a Coachbuilder's Print for the subframe of EAC.XII of which we presume that you are now making one for the first chassis. As a result of our considerations in connection with the proposed body for this car, we have come to the conclusion that the second crossmember from the dash, shewn on N.Sch.2207., should be placed at a distance of 51.000 ins. from the dash instead of 54.750 ins. We would be glad if you could arrange to make this modification to the subframe in hand as well as to future ones. Unless we hear from you to the contrary we shall presume that you have been able to make the change. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} AUG 1926 ( RECEIVED ) | ||
