re.BRAKE OPERATING SYSTEM.

In view of our experiences of the car with the agreed scheme of braking on Tuesday last we think we should be prepared to find that a greater leverage is required between the pedal and the brakes than the existing 40/50., and we suggest that we should have a multiplying lever as shewn on Nscheme 1783. but with proportions enabling us to vary this leverage with a view to ascertaining the best compromise between pedal pressure and the allowance for wear.
We send N.scheme 1787. herewith.
