Dear Sirs,

We thank you for the quotations given in your letter of the 23rd. regarding the production of Experimental camshaft castings for us in your "Monikrom" material.

Due to an alteration in our programme we now require camshafts to EW.1416 and not to EB.1085 as originally intended. The modification to the nose piece of the camshaft as suggested by you to delete the end thread and use an internal screw to retain the camwheel, is likewise applicable to EW.1416.

These camshafts are almost identical and we presume that your quotations for EB.1085 will stand for EW.1416, in which case will you please accept this letter as an official order for 3 camshafts to EW.1416 in "Monikrom" to be delivered in accordance with the conditions of your letter.

Yours faithfully,

for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
