We note in your report on the 20 HP. car that you complained about the accessibility of the cover for the dynamo.

There is, however, quite an elaborate scheme for holding this cover clear of the magneto drive so that the dynamo can be run with the brushes exposed.

After the two wing nuts have been removed and the cover is loose, it will be seen that there is a hole in the cover - under the cover will also be seen a projection with a milled cap nut. If the cap nut is unscrewed and the hole in the cover dropped over it, when the nut is replaced, the dynamo cover is held firmly but clear of the magneto drive and shaft.

We admit that very few people have realised this scheme but it has been arranged that a note will be made in the next 20 HP. Instruction Book.
