Presumably you will have the remnants of the car at the Works shortly and it is, of course, important that a careful examination should be made to see if there is any explanation of the cause of the accident, as from the reports I have had there would appear to be some uncertainty about this. I enclose copy of letter which Mr.Grylls sent to PN{Mr Northey} (Mr.Grylls, as you know, was a passenger on the car) and I have asked PN.{Mr Northey} to send me the other letter to which he refers.
