We are extremely obliged and appreciate your memo' BY.4/G.11.10.38, re Bearings. I am sure that with the correct fitting of bearings there is no doubt as to the issue.

(1) Place the bulb of a thermometer in the crankcase oil filler.

(2) Run engine until a temperature of 42°C to 45°C is recorded.

(3) Switch off and proceed to drain sump.

(4) Remove ignition plugs.

(5) Connect flexible pipe from oil flow unit to main oil pipe, after disconnecting this pipe from the oil pump.

(6) Connect up air pressure to oil flow unit, and see that a steady 30 lbs. is recorded. (There is a special blow off valve).

(7) Place motor driven unit in front of car and jack up in line with starting handle driving shaft, supplied.
