The Leyland & Birmingham Rubber Co.Ltd.,
Leyland,
Lancs.

For the attention of Mr. Gollop.

Dear Sirs,

We have recently been experimenting with pressure cooling and temperatures in the order of 120°C. 15 lbs.sq.in. pressure have been reached.

These conditions, we find, have resulted in the rubber hose radiator connections failing, and we should be very glad if you could let us have some sample hoses 1⅛" bore which will be satisfactory under the above conditions.

An official order will be despatched as soon as we hear from you.

Yours faithfully,
FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
