EFC2/T6.7.28. -2- Contd. Even if the connection to the green lamp be not taken so near to the battery as suggested, we are of the opinion that it ought at least to be on the battery side of the charging switch, i.e. supplied through a suitable one of the distributing fuses, e.g. No. 7. (5) The ignition coil as shown electrically is not quite correct. Actually the start of the secondary winding comes from the end of the primary which is in connection with the contact breaker. This has not been right in the previous instruction book diagrams. It is of little consequence, but we might as well have it as it actually is. There is one further point, and that is, we think the battery should be definitely marked + or - otherwise some would take it to mean that the positive was earthed, whereas, as you know, our negative is now always earthed.
