X.4040. PHANTOM TECHNICAL WIRING DIAGRAM, AND GREEN LIGHT CONNECTION. X.756Q.

With regard to the point in connection of the green lamp mentioned in your memo. EFC2/T6.7.28., R.{Sir Henry Royce} does not agree with your view of the matter, but does agree that connection to terminal B. is not right.

It must always be possible to cut out the green light by switching off the charging switch.

R.{Sir Henry Royce} states that so far as he can see the connection should be made to terminals 1. 2. or C.

Regarding point (1) in the same memo. we think there should be little fear of confusing the conductors with the boundary lines of the units, since most of the latter are coloured. Those not coloured should be made definitely thicker than the boundary lines.

We fear that if double lines close together are used for the boundaries then they will be confused with the conductors.

Regarding points (2) and (3) we should be glad if you will return the original of LeC.2570 and we will modify the diagram.

E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer}
