Dynamo End-play. A 20 hp dynamo, F, which is standard except that it is set to the general specification of test, has been used for trials of the above. The armature was first pushed as far towards the commutator end as the bearing would allow. Then, starting cold, a production test was carried out, the results being:- O.C Volts at 600 rpm. 14.4 (as shunt 14.5) Ampere output after 20 mins on load at 1450 rpm, 13.0 OC Volts taken immediately at 700 rpm 17.2 A washer of about .047" thickness was now put on the armature shaft at the commutator end, and the armature (Contd) Signed This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
