No. 1175 To DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}/EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X783 BODY FOR EAC.V11 CHASSIS. Fitting the body of this chassis on to a standard type chassis is going to be an awkward proposition. We suggest that the simplest method of getting the car fitted up is for Hoopers to send the body to Lillie Hall per lorry - we will then bring EAC.V11 chassis down to Lillie Hall unobtrusively and mount on the body there. We should like to know whether you can see any snag in this arrangement from Hoopers point of view, and if not, if you would arrange with them accordingly.
