EAC. IGNITION GOVERNOR SPRINGS.

With reference to the above springs, we have only had a few of these made. They were adapted from a spring got out by the D.O., which was altered by the Expl: Dept: As a result of this we do not know exactly what the rating of the spring yet to be when it is made by expert spring makers or what the probable limits of variation between similar springs will be.

We should therefore be obliged if you would let us have some of the first batch of springs which come in, to test on our rig and on the governor, when we will revise the limits we have previously given for the springs and hand the rig over to you to carry out the Production tests.

All the limits we have previously given with regard to the springs, are subject to alteration.
