-2- There is nothing the matter with the material, the brinell figures are to drawing and there is no burning, also as failure takes place on the inside of the bend in the lever this clears the process of bending of any mishandling, I mention this as someone from Wyman's Department is worrying about a Laboratory report, Mr.Talbot in the Laboratory confirms this statement but I will issue a Laboratory report, it will ease someone's mind. In order to make certain that the impact loads which have caused failure of the lever have not twisted the Pendulum Shaft, I would like to have the 3.B.50 or 10.B.V. dismantled to examine the part in question, unless it has been done previously and we have positive evidence that the Pendulum lever is not twisted.
