For the attention of Mr. S. Burman.

Dear Sirs,

I hope you will forgive the long silence, but I have only just had an opportunity of trying the Austin 10 to which we fitted the steering box you made for us. This box is a considerable improvement on the standard fitting. The steering is very pleasantly light on normal road running, rather heavier for low speed "shunting", and I think rather more prone to "joggles" than the previous box. This, however, in our experience, is more likely to be a function of overall steering flexibility than of box reversibility.

We are continuing to run the box, and you probably will not hear any more from us unless trouble arises.

Yours faithfully,
for ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED,

D.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} Bastow.
