Threaded Rubber Separators for Batteries.

The remarks in yours EFC4/T5.1.26 and EFC5/T5.1.26 are very interesting.

I wrote the Chloride Co. and Peto & Radford at some length with regard to the question of employing threaded rubber separators in lieu of wood and ebonite in our standard batteries for 40/50 HP. and 20 HP. chassis.

This morning we have a reply from the Chloride Co. stating that some little time would elapse before they could supply threaded rubber separators to a standard battery and in the meantime Mr.Mc.Kinnon would like to come over, say about 2 weeks hence, and discuss the matter with us on the various technical points.

I shall be much obliged if you will let me know whether it will be convenient to you to receive the visit of Mr.McKinnon on Friday, 22nd inst. or Monday, 25th inst.

We have not yet had a reply from Peto & Radford.

Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead}
