Adjusting pivot lean, balancing road wheels, re-charging accumulators, and washing and polishing car". Customer has remitted this amount, but remarks that he did not however think a charge would be made, as the steering has been faulty off and on ever since he had the car, and some time ago he took it to Page Street, but the work they did was to no effect, it appears however, to be satisfactory now. We have taken these matters up with Cricklewood when they reply as follows with regard to Chassis No. 2020E. "Replying to your CA8/DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}27515 this was a steering wobble job with 6" or 7" Palmer tires fitted. There is a great difficulty in getting rid of steering wobbles with 6" and 7" Palmer Tires and steering will often wobble badly with these tires and yet be perfectly alright on standard tires.
