Lines Bros. Ltd., the people who make all the Tri-ang toys, are doing a series of electric scale model toy cars and have approached us to ask whether we would help them in doing a model of the Bentley Continental Drophead Coupe.

They want to make this particular model the luxury effort of the whole series and expect to sell it at approximately 55/-.

To quote from their letter they plan to include :-

"... all front and rear lighting including flashing lights operated automatically, when the steering wheel is turned left or right, electric horn operated by central steering wheel button, variable speed, including reverse, operated from steering column gear lever, and not between the seats as we originally suggested, thus making it more authentic. The car would be driven with a battery operated electric motor. The body work would be exact in every detail with all chromium parts, bumpers, etc, actually plated."

I will go into this matter further and have a look at their prototype chassis which they hope to have working very soon.

In the meantime perhaps you would let me have your comments.
