E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} 240 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}16/R.25.6.37. BENTLEY WITH FIXED RADIATOR SHUTTERS. The Bentley with fixed radiator shutters is now available for inspection by Sales at any time. In addition to altering these shutters to improve the cooling, we have stiffened them up. The set which ran 10,000 miles could too easily be pushed out of shape by anyone resting their hand against them. We really feel that these shutters should run a further 10,000 miles' test in parallel with their introduction into production. This would, of course, clear the General Arrangement for the Bentley III. The saving is about £5 per car. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
