X.1775 X.5770 X.4118 The above is important from many points of view. He was using a very old 3-speed 20 HP. with a very ugly body, and only two wheel brakes. The car was not well taken care of: we found much water in the petrol, which probably entered by the glass face of the gauge. A good looking body suitable for the work is a necessity. Four wheel brakes also must be provided in case of time saving. These could be fitted to early cars by the use of vacuum servo if thought advisable. Col. Fell probably prefers to drive himself, which is economical, and a good 20 HP. is probably best for the work. Better I should have the out-of-date car than Coll. Fell. R. {Sir Henry Royce} | ||
