ORIGINAL To EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW. c to Da.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW/LG14.1.21. X4322. RE. LOPDELL WATER PIPE CLIPS. We return herewith two Lopdell Clips together with correspondence referring to this matter. Although these clips do not have the appearance of being able to stand pressure when unskilfully applied, they are strong enough for their purpose and quite efficient. We cannot say they are easy clips to fit, although easier than our present corrugated clips, and until one gets well acquainted with manipulating them, considerable fumbling is experienced. Another feature which lends itself to adverse criticism, is the large amount of space occupied which, we think, somewhat destroys the neat appearance. There is, however, no question of their efficiency and we think they are worth a more extensive trial. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/TMW. | ||
