| 323. To HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager} Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}1/AP.22.12.36. 38-EX. Exhaust System. The above car was fitted initially with an exhaust system to experimental design, before our experiments were actually concluded, mainly to get the car down to the Coachbuilders. Now that the car has returned to Derby and we have had an opportunity of testing same, the exhaust system is not good enough. Will you please therefore have the rear silencer modified to the new design as per LeC.5393. This actually does not mean a great alteration. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Wym.{G.
