B.V. BRAKE SERVO.

Will you please instruct that after riveting the lining to the steel disc on this servo, the lining is to be ground flat to level out any lumps caused by riveting.

Will you also instruct that each servo is to be "run in" by disconnecting the propellor shaft (4 bolts), putting the car in 2nd. gear and applying the brakes. The servo is to be run until smoke just begins to issue from the lining. The operation is to be done once only and before the car goes on the road for the first time.

This treatment is necessary for V.G.90 linings.
A note should be added to the drawings.
