Sec.6180 V.G.90 LININGS Please add the following notes to the Detail Drawing and Arrangement respectively: 1) "Lining to be ground flat after riveting." Reason: To ensure a flat surface after riveting. 2) "Servo to be run in by engaging 2nd Gear and applying the brakes until smoke just begins to issue from the lining. This must be carried out with the propeller shaft disconnected. This operation should be done once only, and this before the car goes on the road." Reason: To ensure even bedding of the Servo lining.
