COPY. Misc. RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/WA.{Mr Wallis}15.10.32. The main outstanding modifications which we are hoping to fit on the Peregrine car which goes to France at the end of the month are :- Engine Unit. (1) Turbulent head to LeC.3222. (2) New Cam forms. (3) Clutch of the Borg & Beck type. Chassis. (1) Stronger back axle bevels. (2) Latest type shock absorbers aluminium case J.3 type. (3) Wider area brake drums. We are rather concerned at the position of the new dampers because, although we have been doing a lot of experimental work on our testing rig, we have not as yet had any pieces to try on the road. The time is getting rather short and we think that we should make an effort to get a set running on Peregrine without delay. So far we are very satisfied with the engine mounting which you fitted to the second Peregrine. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
