Min RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} c.c. to R.{Sir Henry Royce} Ha/Les.5/MA.6.10.32. PEREGRINE 'B' DUTY ENGINE MOUNTING. In order to make a decision as to whether it is necessary to attach the friction engine dampers direct from the crankcase to the frame instead of having them combined in the front cross-member, we require LeC.3219 fitted to a car having the Expt. engine mounting Ha.708. It is therefore of considerable importance that LeC.3219 (dampers direct from the cre.kcase to the frame) should be fitted to the next complete Peregrine, so that we can get the final design for the later chassis.
