Dear Sirs, 33 Equals Brooklands Racing Mixture. --------------------------------- We confirm our conversation with Mr. Hives and Mr. Hall regarding the alcohol content of the 33 equals mixture which we have recently delivered to you. We understood from Mr. Hall over the telephone that he had adopted the following method of estimating the alcohol content:- (1) Aqueous extract made. (2) This extract fractionated and the 60/70°C. fraction called methyl alcohol and the 70/84° fraction called ethyl alcohol. that these fractions were respectively 12 and 34% indicating a total of 46% of alcohol present. | ||
