Should it, however, be desired to adjust the platinum point gap without removing the magneto, the contact breaker can be removed from the magneto in position and the contact points correctly set to distance by placing the breaker in a jig provided for the purpose, of which the inside diameter upon which the rubbing block bears, is the exact equivalent of the inside diameter of the cams which actuate the breaker, namely, 1.580±1 EFC. | ||
