Coverley - Production Engineer} 346 BY/Cgh.{W Clough}1/W.12.3.37. Phantom III : Front Suspension. With reference to the recommendations that Wraith movement should be standardised on "D" Series in the event of standardisation tests being completed in time, we find that there is not a design drawing in existance as to what has been fitted on 35.EX and some parts have been made to Ex. drawings and others have been made without drawings. In addition to this, we understand that 35.EX. has got a restricted lock owing to the fact that the modified levers fouled the brake adjustment gear. We were arranging for the detail drawings involved to be sent into the O.P. Department for operations to be planned in advance of the scheme being standardised in order to save time, but in view of the above we are not able to do this and require further design information. py/Cgh.{W Clough} | ||
