2nd. December. 1930.

Attention of Mr. W.A. Robotham.

Dear Sirs,

Replying to yours of the 24th. ult., addressed to Mr. Paull.

We find on investigation that the 5 covers of modified Silent tread pattern sent to you for the 20/25 h.p. car were not balanced, for which we would ask you to accept our apologies. They were taken from production for the purpose of modifying the tread, and it was overlooked that they had not passed the balancing operation.

We take this opportunity of assuring you that covers delivered to you in the ordinary way are balanced before issue, in accordance with the existing arrangement.

Yours faithfully,
For THE DUNLOP RUBBER CO.LTD.,
