W. A.{Mr Adams} Robotham, Esq.,
Rolls Royce Ltd,
Derby.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

I have just received a letter from our Sales Manager saying that the unit for the intake valve gear is not standard in that the plunger is cupped to receive the push rod. This results in an increase in our costs necessitating a price of 33 cents F.O.B. New York. As you will remember I mentioned that there might be a slight increase in the price of this unit over the 30 cent price I quoted for the Standard Lincoln Zephyr unit which is to be used in your exhaust tappet.

Hoping that this is satisfactory to you,

I remain,
Very truly yours,
J.O. Eaton Jr.{Mr James Royce}
