20/25 HP. Carburetter.

Floatchamber Balance LeC.4292.

Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}28/KW/7.2.35 and Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}20/T.6.2.35, the point we have now to decide is to what degree if any this modification shown on LeC.4292 should be made retrospective.

This modification is easily applicable to an existing carburetter which involves fitting a new floatchamber lid{A. J. Lidsey}, a balance pipe and a new plug into the air inlet. At the same time the balance hole in the existing floatchamber must be plugged up and the hole in the air inlet must be tapped. Also a new carburetter needle XC.2. must be fitted in place of XB.8.
