V6110 Roy{Sir Henry Royce}/MS. From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.10/MA.13.7.32. TESTS ON INSULATING PAPERS. Will you please note when ordering samples of insulating paper for test that it is impossible for us to test adequately any sample .002" or under in thickness unless we have enough to make two discs 4" in dia and .020" thick. This means that with .001" thick paper we should require at least 320 sq.ins. or a piece 16" x 20". It would save a lot of time if paper manufacturers sent us an adequate quantity for test every time they submit samples. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. | ||
