RE WIND TUNNEL TESTS. BENTLEY.

As far as I can see the tests at Vickers will begin as arranged on Monday next, June 19th. and be completed on the Tuesday.

There is always a possibility of some sort of delay, so I will send you a wire from Vickers as soon as I get there on Monday, so that you can come down on Tuesday.

If you are not in a hurry to get away on Tuesday evening we might be able to make a preliminary analysis of the tests to-gether with a view to telling what sort of shape the mock-up of existing saloon will be.

I note that you suggest that we confine our tests to model I. only. I agree with the reservation that if we can I would like one test on model two fitted with the best screen and front wings of model I. so that we can see if there is any advantage to be gained by the still longer tail with which model two is fitted.
