Following our conversation re testing Axle Springs ex Messrs. Firth, I understand it will be at least three weeks before you will be able to report in such a way as will enable us to determine whether to order bulk supplies of such Springs from Messrs. Firth or elsewhere, for "Goshawk".

In view of this, we are making arrangements to order further bulk supplies from Woodhead, to keep the output going.

If you are not in agreement with my understanding as to the period required for completing tests on these Firth's Axle Springs, please let me know.

At the same time, I would remind you that we are most anxious for many reasons to order bulk supplies of these Firth's Axle Springs at the earliest possible moment.

ROY. {Sir Henry Royce}
