FROM
JOHN MARSTON LIMITED,
WOLVERHAMPTON.

24th December, 1935.

Messrs. Rolls-Royce Limited,
DERBY.

For the Attention of Mr. Steadman.

Dear Sirs,

The writer regrets that he was unable to visit Derby as he had intended to do. Unfortunately various urgent matters prevented him from getting away.

Since writing you on the 10th instant we have carried out further tests comparing the Marston Mark VI and the fin and tube type matrix, and we enclose a graph showing the heat dissipation measured. The fin and tube matrix selected for this test was manufactured by Morris, who we understand manufacture under licence from Gallay-Chausson. We believe that the cores are precisely similar.

The writer hopes to be in Derby soon after the Christmas holidays and will write you later suggesting a date for his visit.

Yours faithfully,

for JOHN MARSTON Limited,
Howard Southall
Works Engineer.
