When Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} was trying 32-EX. in London under traffic conditions, he reports :- "Pronounced misfiring occurred on both A.{Mr Adams} & B. ignition when accelerating from low speeds. This was overcome by temporarily replacing the Lucas coils by standard " RR. taken from stock. This does not necessarily mean the coils were faulty, it was no doubt induced sparking in the leads due to these being bunched together in the tube. BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} By | ||
