When this sheet was signed by yourself and Hs. {Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} at the Conference, it was not known on what chassis number the modifications could be incorporated, but it was decided that it should be fitted on production as soon as RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} could arrange it. We therefore kept the sheet in the Experimental Dept. until RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} was able to let us know that the altered jets could be brought in at the 1st. in 'D' series, which he did on 24.1.38.
