X-8005 Thank you for your E1/M24.10.28. We have been measuring the flexibility of the drive from the clutch backwards and find that it twists a number of degrees under engine torque. This XX perhaps explains why a more flexible coupling does not produce any appreciable result. Of course the transmission flexibility is not damped. If the flywheel produced torque reaction, we could easily reduce its inertia to one half and see if it makes any difference.
