For the attention of W.A.Robotham Esq.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

Reference the first paragraph of your letter of December 19th. I have been making enquiries re. the brake shudder which you refer to.

It seems to be a general characteristic on our Girling Brakes (which are for the most part fitted with Ferodo M.R. Lining), that they do, under the conditions you mention, come to rest with what is variously described as a 'grunt' or 'groan'. It seems that this is a rather higher frequency vibration than the one you refer to.

Yours sincerely,
THE ROVER COMPANY LIMITED.
