For the attention of Mr. West.

Dear Sirs,

When the writer was with you on the 9th inst., you asked for a report in connection with your figures of Speedometer failures 25 HP. and Phantom II.

Your totals were given in the note which we beg to return herewith, and, on going through, we cannot quite agree with the total of 35, as our total comes to 30 only. The period covered is the three months - 1st January/ March 31st, 1934.

Taking the 25 HP. first:-

Order No. Fault. Remarks.

R.4849. Hand sticking at 2 miles. The cause of this was that the hand had been moved, or knocked until it was touching the edge of the dial. We merely adjusted the hand and re-tested.

R.4888. Trip not working. Agreed. Slight mechanical defects, roller had ceased. Repaired F.O.C.

R.4906. Instrument 6% fast. Instrument tested and found absolutely correct i.e. your usual percentage fast. instrument tested & returned as received.
