To: E.F.C Order No.: PD 54 Customer's No.: Date: Aug. 25th 1930 X 6006. 48 Coil High Output Dynamo L.H.2.M on Car 24 EX. Owing to the complete failure of the dynamo towards the end of the 10,000 miles test on 24 EX, we were unable to carry out a test of this machine on the road. We have, however, carried out a road test on the dynamo on 23 EX, the performance of which was similar to that of the machine on 24 EX; in both cases there being a discharge on the peak, with maximum lamp load, of about two amperes. The results of this road test, together with those of some investigation being carried out on the bench, will be reported later. Dynamo L.H.2.M off 24 EX was received from the shop with the report that it had failed. The insulation was first tested on the AC mains, and was found to be quite alright except for a leakage due to carbon dust bridging the Signed: Cont'd.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary} This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
