To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} X5080. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}2/MJ.13.5.32. 16-G4. CARBURETTERS. LEC.2924. We have continuous trouble on the road with these carburettters when trying to slow run. The throttles invariably stick for the last part of their movement. We think one reason is because we have a C. and A.{Mr Adams} washer between the carburetter and the induction pipe and the deflection of this causes distortion in the throttle barrels when pulled up by the two-bolt flange. There are one or two other points which require attention, a list of which we attach herewith. Will you please make the necessary modifications.
