Double Rear Brakes. - X.2 File

The cars fitted with these are still away from works and are reported to be working satisfactorily. We have not had an opportunity of trying a light car fitted with these brakes as 2301 was hurried off to Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence as soon as it was completed. I should like to hear how this car rides with this heavy axle and light body over a pot-holey road; one does not notice any ill effect on the heavy cars but a light car may not hold the road so well with the increased unsprung weight.
