Dear Sirs,

We are enclosing report of preliminary tests on 40/50 h.p. tank F.79192 (K.S.162).

It should be noted that the tank upon which we are conducting our experiments is not to Drawing F.79192; the angle of the flange is some 15° to the horizontal, and we have accordingly made a specially set unit, bringing the bottom bell into a vertical attitude, which has brought the calibrations correct.

It is urgently necessary for us to know whether the flanges on the tanks which are being made to receive the gauges supplied against your production orders, are to Drawing F.79192, or the same as the experimental tank upon which we are working.
