Messrs.S.Smith & Sons Ltd.,
Cricklewood Works,
London, N.W.2.

For the attention of Mr.Nichols.

Dear Sir,

Many thanks for the kindness and courtesy shown to me at your Works yesterday. Confirming our various conversations it was arranged that you would :-

(a) Send us a combined instrument and a larger dial speedometer for inspection.

(b) Look into the question of the burnt out petrol gauge tank attachment and let us have as soon as possible a petrol gauge meter fitted up with a fuse at the back as approved by ourselves.

We are arranging to write you further in regard to the testing for the electric petrol gauge and let you know whether we shall avail ourselves of your offer in respect to the petrol meter tester.

We note what you say in respect to the lightened A.T. instrument and we may expect to receive from you shortly a modified A.T. instrument for our inspection and approval.

Again thanking you for your kindness.

Yours sincerely,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED.
