EFC. from ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} X4622 ROY{Sir Henry Royce}20/MG4.1.26 re Chassis Ammeter I note your remarks to BJ re the sample Ammeters submitted by Messrs. Elliott (Ref: EFC3/T1.1.26), and as far as finish is concerned, would confirm our conversation this day, that I understand it is the dial of which you are complaining. Should bulk business materialise, we should have these made by the Cambridge Instrument Company, who at present are making such dials for:- (a) our Radiator Thermometers (b) the Speedometers and so obviate any possibility of trouble under this heading. The dials on the sample instruments submitted by Messrs. Elliott were not made this way - a point I think you will recollect we discussed some months previously. Meantime I would suggest you modify this paragraph in your note to BJ and the others. ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
