To By from BJ Copy to..... Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} BJ11/H8.8.24. X9460 PETROL TANK. On the cabriolet, 40/50 H.P., sent to us to try the front wheel brakes, there was a new tank fitted at the back, with a new form of filler. We all greatly disliked the appearance of the tank, which looks much cheaper than our present tank, and the filler, which is not nearly so nice in design as the filler at the end of the tank on our demonstration landaulet. Also, this new form of filler comes up through the luggage grid, which would effectively prevent luggage being placed on one side of the luggage grid. Doubtless this is only an odd tank, used for experimental purposes, but in order to prevent any possibility of such a tank or filler coming into general use, we are drawing your attention to this immediately.
