Dear Sirs,

Attention - Mr. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} West.

We have been advised by our Mr. C.H.Dryden, that you wish us to submit for test, half-dozen Fuses of two types, namely Type 45 and alternatively a Fuse Link, to blow at 90 amps. at 12 volts, the available space being 2" x 1/2" x 1/2".

On the face of it, a type 45 Fuse does not seem a practicable proposition, owing to the shape and size of the lugs, which leave a very short distance indeed between the fuse caps.

It would be of assistance if you could let us have additional information, as follows:-

1. What would be the normal current the Fuses would have to carry ?

2. Are the Fuses to be fixed to existing terminals ? If so, what size are they and how far apart are their fixing centres ?
