RE: MAIN FUSES.
With reference to IE.20/C/16.11.34. we do not understand why incorrect fuses have been fitted on Bentley chassis, as the arrangement is similar to what we have had on RR.cars for years. The present arrangement of fuses was thoroughly considered by R.{Sir Henry Royce} originally, and it is doubtful if it would be advisable to make any change in regard to the main fuse, for in addition to the fact that we make special provision for carrying a spool of ordinary fuse wire in the distribution box similar fuse wire could also be obtained at any Garage, whereas if we provided a special form of fuse either in the form of a bottle or strip of wire, a replacement could not be made so readily. Our view is that it would not be advisable to make any change in this connection.
