Experimental Car No. 14 G 4.

Yesterday when passing Mackworth, proceeding towards Ashbourne, a Car going in the opposite direction suddenly pulled out to pass another one, completely blocking my road. At the same time it was obvious that the driver was in difficulties, by the way the car skidded across across the road when he tried to get back again behind the other car.

I applied my brakes, and the Car skidded towards the hedge, turned round completely in the road, and finished up the opposite way I was going, and the other car ran into me and damaged the nearside and off front wing, and cracked one of the windows. There is apparently no damage to the chassis.

Attached is a card belonging to the driver of the other Car, and on the back of the card is the name of the man who was driving the car in front.

Mr. Curry admits all liabilities and he thanked me for the manner in which I was able to stop the Car.
